The UK IT Industry Awards 2024 – in pictures

Photos from the most exciting night of the year

The UK IT Industry Awards by BCS, The Chartered Insitute for IT and Computing were a great success, once again. Here’s a selection of pictures chronicling the big night – from arrival to party.

It all began at Battersea Evolution, with a champagne reception greeting the deserving finalists.

Guests were excited to meet and greet their peers – and have a chance for a memorable photo.

There were gasps when the curtain pulled back to show off the stunning decorations in the main hall – where the real action was due to happen.

Everyone took their seats for dinner – after a few more selfies, of course.

After a welcome by the fantastic London Lights, Computing editor Tom Allen and BCS CEO Rashik Parmar took to the stage to welcome everyone to the UK IT Industry Awards 2024.

Our charity partner for 2024 was The Childhood Trust, which fights against child poverty. Director of development Lisa Romanova told the audience all about the charity’s work.

All the money raised on the night through either direct donations or the silent auction - another returning favourite - went to The Childhood Trust.

After dinner, it was time for the awards! Host Tom Allen – we've both heard all the jokes, as editor Tom Allen had said earlier – kept the crowd laughing with observations about websites, robots and passwords.

Of course, there’s always time for a bit of audience interaction.

The fabulous Creme de la Creme welcomed winners to the stage – and what a brilliant bunch they were! Watch out for a separate article of winners’ photos coming soon.

And as the awards wound down, the party revved up! It was time for drinks, dancing and dodgems – for some guests, all at once.

Party games and the photo booth beckoned, too
