Bix pedals deal with Raleigh

The Raleigh Company and Bix Computer Applications have a signed a #155,000 contract for new engineering design systems based on the SolidWorks modelling software. The bicycle manufacturer is installing a seven seat system in its engineering design and development division. The deal includes PhotoWorks for photo-realistic rendering, CosmosWorks for finite element analysis, Pathtrace EdgeCAM for programming the laser cutting tools and an Oracle-based SmarTeam for data management.
