Network News still ahead of the pack in Banner survey

Network News has stretched its lead as Britain's best-read networking newspaper, according to figures just released by independent IT analyst, Banner.

Banner's survey found that 13.1 per cent of the UK's IT decision-makers now regularly read Network News, compared with 11.7 per cent for Network Week.

This means Network News is read by more people with network purchasing power. According to Banner, more than 76,000 IT decision-makers responsible for buying network hardware, software and services read the paper regularly - an increase of almost 7,000 regular readers on the last survey.

Banner surveyed more than 3,500 influential decision-makers in the IT sector across the UK from January 1998 to January 1999.
