SCO claims UnixWare eclipses Sun
SCO has claimed its UnixWare can burn up Sun Solaris. Using a six-node, 24 CPU UnixWare cluster, SCO demonstrated it had achieved a SPECcpu_int95 benchmark of 3343. The company asserted that this proved Solaris had been eclipsed as, in previous tests, the Sun Unix scored 2171. The benchmarks were hosted on a cluster of six Compaq ProLiant 7000 servers.
