Atos Origin signs 20 contracts in six weeks
Growth partly the result of company's strong transactional services
Atos will announce details of its contract wins on 17 February
IT services company Atos Origin has signed 20 UK contracts worth between £1m and £50m over the past six weeks.
Although most of the deals are yet to be announced, the company has said that a key contract has been signed with Skills Development Scotland and Scottish Enterprise for £40m.
Keith Wilman, UK CEO for Atos Origin, attributes some of the company's recent success to a growth in transactional business services. This includes hi-tech transactional services such as payment and loyalty cards.
Atos Healthcare is the leading occupational health service provider based on market share and it grew its share in this market last year.
The company also said it plans to extend its transactional business services in 2010.
The company will announce details of its contract wins on 17 February.
