Interleaf software plans visual eXtensible Mark-up Language tool
Hot on the heels of the emergence of XML - the latest mark-up language for Web designers - Interleaf and Microstar Software Ltd have announced a WYSIWYG application codenamed BladeRunner, which will make the language easier to use.
XML is the next-generation standard for internet and intranet development - a powerful document transaction structure and content modelling language that improves the dynamic nature of Web sites.
BladeRunner, Interleaf claims, will "enable companies to achieve the information re-use and cross-media publishing benefits of XML. The product will comprise a visual Data Type Definition modelling tool, WYSIWYG authoring and assembly environment, and publishing engine designed for users without XML and SGML expertise.
