IT hawks soar on the Plimsoll line

Prosoft Logistics and GW7 are the most aggressive software and hardware companies in the UK IT industry, according to the latest research from Plimsoll Publishing.

The researcher ranks the companies that have gained the most ground in recent years. In software, it has Prosoft top followed by Misys, Triad Group, royalblue technologies and KBC Advanced Technologies.

On the hardware side, GW7 just edges out Madge Networks, with Wareheath, Basilica Computing and Digital Equipment Scotland making up the top five.

Plimsoll proposes its research as an aid to assessing your competitors.

It also looks at companies in terms of efficiency, added value, best trading and gross profit margins, shooting stars and cash-rich companies and prospective acquisitions.
