We take a closer look at the chip maker's partnership with Bluestacks

LAS VEGAS: Both AMD and Intel revealed separate plans to integrate Android and Windows 8 dual OS functionalities into their hardware at CES.

AMD's partnership with Bluestacks allows for an instance of Android to run within Windows 8, giving users access to the full suite of Android features, something never seen before in previous scenarios.

AMD claims that it is looking to "eliminate the gap" between Windows and Android, and said it wants to go beyond the traditional dual-boot option that's now offered on a handful of devices.
