Another week, another major security flaw. This time it was 'Freak' and related to the discovery that an old encryption standard could be used to decrypt traffic sent over HTTPs connections.

No doubt those worried about the privacy of their communications, whether that's governments or big business, will have been concerned by the flaw, especially as Android, Apple and Windows machines are all known to be affected.
