The Awards recognise the innovation, leadership and transformation that women bring to the IT industry

The Women in IT Excellence Awards, which enjoyed an incredibly successful launch in 2017, will be held this year on the 27th of November - and entries close today.

If you have started an entry, please remember to ensure you submit your application so that it can be considered for the shortlist.

Remember, we want to hear about all of the outstanding women in the IT trade - whether they are on the board or a new starter. With new categories this year including 'Future CIO' and 'Graduate of the Year', we aim to recognise everyone's work and dedication.

With research showing that just nine per cent of IT leaders are women, we believe the way to inspire the next generation is to show them the remarkable footsteps they're following in. We want to highlight the entrepreneurs, the innovators, the leaders and the pioneers: the women building the infrastructure of the future.

Entries are free to submit, and anyone can nominate any woman, for any award. Just tell us, in 150 words or fewer, why she should win, and our editorial and judging team will do the rest.

At the end of November, our finalists and their supporters will gather at Finsbury Square in London to find out the names of the winners, network and enjoy a well-deserved party.
