Slack goes down as millions return to work
Login and messaging problems on the collaboration site began at 3.14 pm
Slack, the collaboration tool on which many remote workers have come to depend to stay in touch with their co-workers, has reported an outage on the first day back to work of the year for many.
The outage seems to be widespread, with users around the world taking to social media to vent their frustration.
It began at 3.14 GMT, according to Slack's Status Dashboard.
We're continuing to investigate connection issues for customers, and have upgraded the incident on our side to reflect an outage in service. All hands are on deck on our end to further investigate. We'll be back in a half hour to keep you posted.
