Announcing the winners of the Women in Tech Excellence Awards 2023
In a room packed with talent and inspiration, who won?
The Women in Tech Excellence Awards celebrated the best of female tech talent.
The Computing Women in Tech Excellence Awards took place last night at state-of-the-art venue Magazine, London.
The industrial inspired backdrop proved the perfect gathering place for more than 600 attendees to celebrate and showcase the work and achievements of some genuinely inspirational women. The awards, presented by actress, writer, presenter and comedian Lucy Porter, also provided a glittering opportunity to catch up with old friends, meet other like minded people (so often a challenge for those in a minority in their workplace) and, most importantly, to party.
Winners and those highly commended have all encountered obstacles on the way but all are changing the ratio of the tech workforce and are building ladders of opportunity for other women to follow them and build on their work.
The Women in Technology Excellence Awards attract more entries every year and each winner had to work harder than ever to stand out from such a stellar field. 28 awards were in play and categories included Hero, Innovator and Role Model of the Year.
