Mary Caffrey

Mary brings over two decades of senior IT leadership experience to her CIO role at HSBC, where she has worked for most of her career.

With a focus on effective delivery of IT services and stakeholder management, Mary ensures all aspects of the UK & Europe region - regulatory compliance, technology strategy, risk management, service resilience, personnel, cost and operations - are optimally managed.

In her past roles at HSBC, which she joined in 2002, Mary has worked as a programme director and project manager, directing large-scale initiatives that required significant inter-company collaboration.

Mary's career has evolved to encompass a diverse range of IT leadership roles, culminating in her current CIO position. With a wealth of experience, she is a trusted leader in IT management and strategic planning.
